HELPING ONE ANOTHER…
It is very rare when a community of volunteers creates its own foundation to assist other residents in need of emergency services. Laguna Woods has the Foundation of Laguna Woods Village, and, in addition to its services to individual residents, it is currently providing assistance to the Village’s Disaster Preparedness Task Force.
Marcy Sheinwold (above), President of the Foundation, and Beth Perak (left) of the Foundation Board, will join Tom Soule, Disaster Preparedness Task Force Office Manager, and Kathleen Moore, also of the Disaster Preparedness Task Force, to present information about their organizations. Find out what the Foundation does in our community and view a showcase of disaster products to meet your needs during a disaster.
The Santa Barbara flood is still fresh in our minds; let’s learn from it together!
This informative Friends of the Village meeting open without charge to residents and their guests. Ample time will be reserved for questions from the audience. Refreshments will be served.
